Update Progress

Hi,
Just a quick note to further test this app and let you know the update for the new year is right on schedule. Features will include a faster interface, audio and video upload abilities. The book upload capability was due in later in January but we're pushing to get in as well.
The book feature allows members to publish from their web page their own book. The application asks questions to help the member's experience as trouble-free as possible. Once the format is determined, it will create a menu/index page to allow access to any page and or section easily. Also, a menu at the bottom to read the content in manner of your choosing.
An example may be found here,

We're very excited about this one and hope to get all the bugs worked out in time. Meanwhile, we'll keep this page more updated than the old News Page in hopes of moving to this site for all our news postings. The biggest hurdle is maintaining a members-only posting but open access with a commendable field. It sounds easy on the face of it. More later, eh?

Thank you for your time,

First Post

Hello,
We're trying out this method to allow you (or others) to post your stories, thoughts or suggestions. The idea is to allow non-members access to you and your Genealogy, background, advertise your site and more.
There are several advantages to using off-site resources. One thing comes to mind and that is to allow Googles "Big Pipes" to allow for faster interactions. We'll poplulate this space with plenty of activites and links back to our services. Additionally, we hope to allow for greater member participation.
Of course, there are disadvantages as well, While there does seem to be plenty of customization possible, we can't "be in total control" so, things might not work as we anticipate. Hopefully, there will be enough member activity to keep the posts clean, crisp and useful. Only time will tell.
So, please feel free to post your thoughts and let's try this sucker out!

Thank you for your time,
